Join us for a day "retreat" at The First National Ice Haus on Main Street in Bandera. A day to Begin Again with Yoga, Breath, Meditation and Sound to usher in this year with new tools and new outlooks from the inside out. About the Venue: The South Texas Ice House has a unique history tied to the culture and traditions of our region. As described below, we have tried to be true to the origins of this unique institution both in the character and the naming of our establishment. Our name is taken from this two story limestone building, constructed in 1890, as The First National Bank of Bandera. An historic landmark in downtown Bandera, it operated as a bank for over 50 years. We’ve also borrowed from the German heritage so deeply rooted in the Hill Country in the spelling of “Haus.” By combining the two, we’ve established The First National Ice Haus of Bandera. Welcome! Ice Haus graciously provided by Diana Walters.
